Van Jones: "Men are hurting. Feminist culture tells you 'dont cry cause you're the problem anyway'. masculine culture tell you 'dont cry cause...'

That's just more name calling. What's your science behind where identity comes from?
Already sourced and listed. You just refused to click on those links. There is also something called common sense. We don’t seem to see too many trans dogs or cats. The only mammals that are trans are humans? Hmmm biology indeed.

You are OK putting our girls and women at risk to be politically correct. I am not.

What links? The link to the one woman who you wanted to hide behind but who's science you couldn't produce or talk about? The woman who believed in treating homosexuality with conversion therapy? That woman? :dunno:

I'm happy to talk about that woman as much as you want. You didn't seem interested though.

Nope.
Now
You’re lying and now you’re using emojis again. You have no idea since you’re not a woman. Neither do I

What would you like to discuss about that book? What for example is the rate of detransition?

I want You to only acknowledge that scientists disagree and it’s not one way. You can’t seem to or won’t do that.
I have no problem accepting that there is often disagreement in the medical community. I also have no problem acknowledging where there is broad consensus. There will always be a handful of doctors who think you should treat homosexuality as a disease with conversion therapy, for example, but these few never have details on their treatments, science or peer reviewed studies, like you and this book.

You should be using science to make your argument to me and the science thay minors are capable of making these decisions with the guidance of trusted adults.
Science says the brains of young people are not fully developed, yet you want to grant them the authority to make permanent, life-long decisions about their bodies that they may live to regret. Why do we prevent children from buying tobacco products? Because they can't make a fully informed decision about using them and will likely harm themselves. Let these children mature, then they can make a fully informed decision about what's best for them.
Medical decision-making in children and adolescents: developmental and neuroscientific aspects - PMC.

This isn't anything new. Some States allow minors to get vaccines against the wishes of their parents, get blood transfusions or surgeries despite their parents maybe having religious objections. Just because they're a parent doesn't mean they're a trusted adult from the perspective of the child. Some parents are bigots or religiously close minded to modern medicine.
Vaccines - life saving, well understood treatments.
Blood transfusions and surgeries - life saving, well understood treatments.
Altering children's bodies to appear more feminine or masculine - not lifesaving, totally elective, and with poorly understood long-term effects. The fact that you conflate them is troubling.

We don't seek to remove parents from the decision-making process if they're advocating their children be altered when they shouldn't be. If parents can be removed from the decision because they object, they should be removed from the decision if the doctor says there is no good reason to subject the child to the process and there are better therapies that should be used. Trans is very rare, so a parent who presents more than one child as being trans should be removed from the decision-making process. And, to just throw this in there, a parent who wants to sue a veterinarian because he refuses to examine a child who identifies as a cat should also be removed from decisions about their child. Children are notorious for changing their minds about a lot of things, so let them grow up and make an adult decision, not a trendy one. How many have altered their bodies, thinking it will make them feel better, only to wake up and realize they don't feel any better?
Well see now you're delving into the cosplay of your peers and imagining yourself in a position to determine healthcare treatments.
Interesting that you conflate sharing an opinion with "imagining yourself in a position to determine healthcare treatments". I must ask you, do you have a reading comprehension problem?
Are you cosplaying as a Doctor or Fortune Teller?
I'm giving an opinion that's based on medical advancements over the last century or so. Go back a mere 100, 150 years and look at medical practices we consider barbaric today, especially in the field of treating mental illnesses, then look at what we're doing to children today who simply don't feel right in their own bodies. I do predict that it won't be long before removing a healthy young girl's breasts or a healthy young boy's penis and testicles will be viewed as equally barbaric as shoving a metal rod into their brain.

Another dodge.

There is no consensus.
Scientists are just too scared to admit that trans is a mental illness but now with the world becoming more logical, more and more are going back to the original diagnosis of gender dysphoria.

This isn’t the same as sexual attraction. Gays don’t believe they are in the wrong body. It’s a false conflation. The better conflation is schizophrenia. We don’t live in crazy people’s make believe worlds. We treat them.

You keep referring to the science but never linking to it. Why not? I have already, your red herring of their brains not being fully developed is trying to hide the fact that what develops last is the part of the brain that involves short term decisions and risk taking, not long term planning like with medical decisions.

What you find troubling, emotionally, isn't a scientific argument.

Nope. I'm just highlighting the fact that your opinion isn't informed by years of medical study and practice so why would you think it worth anything?

No, you're just using fallacies for arguments rather than reason and science.

You are using the fallacies.

You're the one pretending there isn't consensus with this hilarious conspiracy of fear.

It's actually quite similar. Attraction, like identity is a result of your brain function. You can't make people attracted the same sex attracted to the opposite sex because their brains just aren't wired for it. Same with trans people. You can't make their brains feel one way when it's wired to feel another.

Wrong. Sexual preference is just that. Even straight people don’t always agree on who is
Or isn’t attractive.

Trans is closer to schizophrenic behavior. You’re seeing something that isn’t there.

Which has nothing to do with what I said. Let's try again. You can't make people attracted to the same sex, attracted to the opposite sex because their brains aren't wired that way.

It isn't. You're seeing yourself as knowledgeable when you aren't.

Are you using irony? :dunno: :lmao:
Yep.

Because of the absurd nature of your argument. Gay and trans have zero in common why did you make that conflation? Gays aren’t saying, I am gay, so I should use the opposite gender bathroom/locker room. Or I should play a physical sport against the opposite sex. It’s pure sexual attraction.

Nothing to with trans and most gays don’t want to be conflated with trans.

Trans = make believe

Sexual preference is subjective. Biology isn’t.

I am 100% knowledgeable. Compared to you especially.

Do me a favor. For shits and giggles and because I don't think you know what a fallacy even is, try to separate the reasoned argument from the fallacious ones in your argument above. If you can.

Take your own advice

You can’t even provide a counterpoint to my argument. Trans is equivalent to schizophrenia NOT being gay. Prove me wrong.

When you use emojis, I know you lost another debate. Too easy.

I don't think you understand what any of those words mean. Sexual preference is subjective because we each have our own individual biological processes. Sexual orientation is biological just like identity.

You don’t think. We agree. What does sexual preference have to do with being trans?

Schizophrenia: Schizophrenia is a mental health condition that affects everything from how you think to how you feel and behave.

Eerily similar to trans. Hmmm…..
