Venezuela is just the latest result for the Communists. What about the results in France and England? I say China strikes again.

China is playing chess and the West is playing checkers.

All those years China was influencing Western nations around the globe to undermine their own nations and culture. All the effort was applied to make sure France didn't become "far right". The answer? A far-left antisemitic government in France. Brilliant work as some believe anything right of Mao must be a Russian asset.

Now a China-friendly government in England in the form of the Labour Party. Another brilliant success by China. All the while, we keep worrying about the "far right". In fact, the conservative government was turfed because many in England thought the leader was an idiot and anything but conservative. Thus, his former supporters stayed home or punished him.

Remember when Clinton referred to nearly anyone who went against her a "Russian puppet" etc? Is this really the advice she is given from Intelligence agencies in America? If so, China is REALLY winning.

She called Gabbard a "Useful Idiot" for Russia and this was before Russia invaded Ukraine. Odd how Useful Idiot is only applied to someone NOT in government at the helm during the event. Not in government when Russia actually DID invade and take territory for instance.

Venezuela is just more blatant as they outright stole the election. The West has decided that "far right" however that is arbitrarily defined is "bad", the backlash they receive are weak, far-left governments who will be soft and squishy when China decides to take over Taiwan.

I'm no fan of Russia but we keep turning our eyes away to the threat that is obvious in order to convince ourselves we are beating Putin. Yet, he keeps expanding and terrorizing us since we arm his allies.

It's very difficult to keep moderate, center government in power when they ruin their country and undermine the historical and cultural backbone of their nations. Who believes this ends well for Western Values and the post-WII world order?

wait. if the usa can not hold free and fair elections, how can we expect a mere "democracy" to do so?

i'm waiting for carter center report on venezuela election, thanks.

Those two countries have never stopped making trouble for the world.

The problem is we arm and fund them. China and Russia should be behind the curtain unless they agree to change into a free, democratic, capitalist system. Instead we just said "well, they will eventually change, I can't turn down business can I"?

We destroy peoples lives and ensure they are unemployable after charged with an offense as a kid. Yet, we reward time and time again with hundreds of billions of dollars nation-states that are perennial human right abusers and national security threats.

Brilliant
