Voters With Educations High School or less: As Red States Become More Educated

Education: Obama got a majority of support from those who have a high school education or less. But before conservatives and right wingers start celebrating ..

a majority of those with a post graduate education, which exit poll data showed to be about 18% of voters, went with Obama. This appears to explain a few things about the historically Red States of Colorado and Virginia.

I think it is fair to state: As red states evolve with higher educated voters, Democrats like Obama will win

Interesting. The great middle with mere college degrees (equivalent to the electorates of past generations with High School education levels) will lose out to a combination of less educated people and those with post graduate educations.

And there has always been the economic class divide in party politics going back quite a ways. Want to talk about party alignments, the affluent class versus the rest of America? (classes and dynamic party support with regional variations)

Economic Class distinctions in American politics: It still exists despite the right wing attempt to say it doesn't:

In the 2012 Presidential Election, 41% of all voters in 2012 had family incomes that were less than $50,000, and 60% of those people voted for Obama (2012 exit poll data) ..

28% of voters had family incomes of over 100,000 and 54% of these people voted for Romney ..

middle class support for Obama went with 46% of voters with incomes between 50,000 - 100,000 voting for Obama.

Democrats are still struggle with white middle class voters, but demographics are changing

The right is spinning the data on the Southern Strategy, which is easily shown to be bogus by using quotes of GOP Strategists and Chairmen.

The right is spinning data about Class Warfare as a Democratic Strategy that Republicans do n ot engage in.

So what else is new? What's your point? If what the distinguished academic's in their ivory tower state as true then please explain how a minority party ever wins the White house? One would logically surmise that their premise is simply ideology and economic deficiencies trump common sense and opportunity.

what some fail to realize is many of the worlds greatest in actual accomplishments have been drop outs...

one word: turnout

more than one word: Whether a candidate/party can make the election about a referendum on the incumbent or not

How did Bush beat Kerry, and how did Obama beat Romney? Pretty simple: to the block of undecideds 'I have flaws but not as bad as the other guy's'

Are you now stating class warfare plays no part in the electoral decision process? As you may recall, Obama won inner city voters and the challenger the balance. A declining middle class works well into the hands of the liberal mainstream. Eventually, under the current policies of this administration, there could well be no middle class.

Nothing strange about it at all. Educated people tend to rely more on government support systems. The days of the white trash nutball are numbered. No question about it.

Aspirational people (most semi- and minor-professional led families with incomes in the $70k - $110ish range- hilariously, including government workers) tend to abandon their roots and ape what they want, which tends to be money and the respect of people with power. This is not a "party" phenomenon, it is as glaringly obvious among minor professional classes of liberals supporting wild-eyed human potential horseshit with "expert" opinion, as it is flagrant among nuballs claiming invading Iraq had some moral basis or that AIG is a high purpose organization.

Aspiration by-way-of casual avarice and self-doubt is why the second tier managerial/administrative demographic is the easiest to "roll". Most have enough time on their hands to develop emotional insecurities, and these tend to be compensated for by pretending to understand finance (after all, they get 401k reports quarterly, surely that makes them experts) and really drinking the "Avarice Koolade" the next level keeps handy. It really is easier for this group to suck a dick once in a while than deal with what well above half are really worth to humanity. In other words every self doubt in this group tends to be justified, so the fanaticism with which they clutch the foot of whatever cross is handy is something to behold.

It gives me a kick, anyway. But then there is no pretense here that my duty is to humanity or that the military serves a higher purpose than hunting and killing until the last enemy soldier is dead and their villages/cities/support systems are burned to the ground.

The only reason 0bama won is so some could prove they are not racist. In the process they succeeded in proving they are stupid.

Class exists. Appeals to classes are normal. Wealthy elites band together, why not others?

And who is it always proclaiming they are much better 'educated' and therefore they are the smartest?

I have no idea. But the smartest people are not always the most educated.

and I posted about who voted in a general election, not any party base

and if the GOP base did not want Romney, why did they elect him in the Primaries over every preferable conservative? Because they were told to by lots cheap ads run and paid for by Wealthy elites?

Obama won Jewish voters handily (2% of voters) and Catholic voters (25% of voters) narrowly

Obama won uneducated (no high school), modestly educated (high school), and super-educated (graduate degree) voters.

Your assumption that blue state voters are somehow superior to red state voters is disgusting.

Sadly, there is precedent.
Virtually everyone in my county voted for Romney (93%). And most of these people have at best high-school education. Very few people go to college here.

I'm not saying Conservatives are stupid - there are definitely idiots on both sides - but it's easy to see a correlation between standards of education and which states went red or blue.

And I want you to think about that for a second: States like Illinois and New York, with their shitty inner city schools with abysmal education, still outperform the South.

What.
The.
Fuck.
