Can you point out where democracy followed in the wake of the US toppling dictators?

You talking about Libya, Egypt, Iraq, or what?

Actually, war is probably good for the economy, as long as it's fought somewhere else. All those people put to work to make bombs and bullets etc. Factories tooling up to make planes and ships. All those extra higher than minimum wage salary dollars being spent in local economies. There are may valid and compelling reasons against war, but I'm not sure the economy is one of them. Now if the war is being fought on your soil, that's a different story.
