China vows military action if Taiwan, sea claims opposed
"China's defense minister warned Sunday that its military will "resolutely take action" to defend Beijing's claims over self-ruled Taiwan and disputed South China Sea waters."

Okay Wall Street, you created this fucking monster, how do you plan to deal with it? Hint: they will nationalize anything you put in China. You've been feeding China at least $500b a year in trade surplus, so they are playing with house money. I remember when we drove SUVs to work and they rode bikes, now they drive and we bike.

Chinese lander on the dark side of the moon. Who is winning and who is losing the technological race?

China's going berserk, this is just one of many abuses of China exerting it's power. China's a monster we largely created by job exports to China.
Opening up Free-Trade with China was the biggest disaster, it just made a hostile China more powerful, it made Americans lose jobs, and it is making China the next super-power.
Meanwhile, pollution is out of control, they're detaining Uyghurs in camps, and even possibly murdering dissidents for organs.

Nixon opened up China, and Wall Street was only too happy to have them make sneakers. Over the next 40 or so years everything was made in China, then they stole technology, now it looks like they are ahead of the US in 5G technology, and in space, and are building a powerful military. I don't think they would invade Taiwan, but its possible. It seems easier than going to the moon. China has a major advantage over Taiwan's military.

Would the US go to war over Taiwan? Bush 43 said yes, Trump said yes.

Is Taiwan really worth the cost of one serviceman’s life? Is some Uyghur?

Nope

It would be worth it just to kill Chinese people and break all their toys. They don’t have staying power. Their conventional forces would be wiped out and rendered useless in no time.

I can't disagree with anything you said. China cannot be underestimated at this point. They have been able to get whatever they wanted because they are a rogue power in a PC world. I'm not sure they can be reigned in at this point.
