Come to think of it. I've seen stills of a pulsed beam. But don't think I've seen motion pics.

I thought light was faster?

I think it works out to a nanosecond per foot or something like that. And if you want a close up with no blur it has to be faster by maybe a 100 or 1000 times. So it's in the picosecond range. 10 to the -12th..

MIT researchers have created a new imaging system that can acquire visual data at a rate of one trillion exposures per second. That’s fast enough to produce a slow-motion video of a burst of light traveling the length of a one-liter bottle, bouncing off the cap and reflecting back to the bottle’s bottom.
