What did Trump mean when he said this?

What do you think Trump meant when he said "no" to JD Vance being his successor in 2028

  • Trump sees himself staying as president forever

    Votes: 2 14.3%
  • Trump does not see Vance being good enough to be a president -

    Votes: 2 14.3%
  • Something else

Perhaps Trump sees Vance as his successor in 2029. If all goes well, Trump will be president until Jan 20, 2029.

No, my nation is my life and I believe Trump will destroy it. You don't fight for the welfare of your own country?
If you voted for Biden you're not looking out for our best interest. Trump is uncovering all the wasted tax money and is trying to eliminate it.

At least Rubio can lift a bottle of water with one hand.

My aunt was born in 1942 she has the shakes. Dementia for sure. I'm taking her to the doctors tomorrow. Trump was born June 14, 1946. We're living longer. Eventually we all get it if we live long enough. Trump already shows signs. Although ever since he won, his brain seems to be in the twilight phase. In its most general sense, twilight is the period of time before sunrise and after sunset, in which the atmosphere is partially illuminated by the sun, being neither totally dark or completely lit. However there are three categories of twilight that are defined by how far the sun is below the horizon. Trump is literally in heaven. He gets cheered at the Superbowl and Taylor Swift gets booed. What world do we live in? Like and alternative reality brought in by Kelly Ann Conway when she uttered those words.

Luckily for us, Trump does have handlers. I don't think any of them want to start a war. I know war is good for business but I think these new billionaires want to avoid war. I hope.

Everyone needs to remember this. No matter how much a company (country) saves, or makes, in Republicans world, the CEO's get 1322% raises and we get 18%. So how much do Trump and Elon really want to pay blue collar workers who mow our lawns and watch our seniors? They own business'. Do they pay their lowest paid employees particularly well? Trickle down is here again. Don't blame Democrats you middle class fools. You did it to us with this and Bush in the 2000's

Our political system sucks. Over the years, we have generally been given bad choices to choose from. =s such, we are generally given to choose who is the least bad and not choosing who is the best.

In the last 8 years with Hillary/Trump, Biden/Trump and Harris/Trump, we were forced to choose the least worse and that has been easy as Trump has always been the worst.

Voting for "the lesser of two evils" has resulted in more and more evil results.

When you vote for the lesser of two EVILS, you are still voting for EVIL.

I refuse to do so. I have not voted for a major party presidential candidate since 2004. My vote has to be EARNED.

The problem is not the general election. The problem occurs in the primaries.

Zealous retards with an agenda turn out for primaries way out of proportion to their representation in the general population, and thus have an overweight effect on who gets selected as their party's nominee.

This is why the most dangerous candidates say insane things. Because they know who turns out for the primaries.

Only about 20 percent of Americans turn out for primaries. That 20 percent decides which evil bastard will be at the top of the ticket in November.

If America ever gets tired of bitching and finally decides they really want to do something about it, then they need to turn out for the primaries.

Lesser of two evils? That's just what Republicans say to dupe dumb ass Americans who aren't paying attention. And they found a leader who can dupe the dumbest Americans into voting. People who otherwise never vote because "both sides suck". No, both sides don't suck. I'll prove it.

"I think Bill Clinton was a great president,’" Trump said in the interview that was conducted shortly after the 2008 presidential election on NY1's "Inside City Hall" program.

"You know, you look at the country then. The economy was doing great. Look at what happened during the Clinton years. I mean we had no war, the economy was doing great, everybody was happy. A lot of people hated him because they were jealous as hell,’" Trump said.

Asked about Hillary Clinton, Trump said: "I think she is going to go down at a minimum as a great senator. I think she is a great wife to a president."

Trump in 2008: It’d be ‘wonderful’ if Pelosi impeached Bush over Iraq

Asked about the remarks during a presidential debate eight years later, Trump said, “you do whatever you want – you call it whatever you want,” and reiterated his belief that the Bush administration lied.

Why did Trump change so drastically when Obama won? I believe he decided that he could never win the Democratic nomination but he could dupe Republicans. So he ran as a Republican. Because of Obama, he got the racists on board. He wooed the religious right who don't care that he personally is not religious.

Then he won 2 general elections because he got millions of people who watched the Apprentice to vote for him. He's a TV personality they believe cares about them and will fix what's wrong with America. In some ways he will. Like, stop the stupid spending. But he and his rich buddies will also hurt the poor and middle class. No question about it. Good luck. I'm upper middle class and close to retirement. I should be fine.

We should have elected Gore in 2000. The world would be much cleaner. Then Hillary in 2008. She would have been a great president. Just as good as Bill Clinton was. Anyone who thinks otherwise is, well, jealous. And stupid.

I have a really hard time imagining the low level of intelligence that it requires to jump on social media and actually advocate for anyone associated with the Democratic Party, right now.

It's just mind numbing and total confirmation of the absolute power of the Democrat media bubble Cult and its leaders.

The question asked of Trump was "Do you see Vance as your successor in 2028". Trump's answer was a clear "NO"

What do you think he meant when he said this?

He thought the question was about JP Mandel.

I've been a liberal my whole life but no more. Why? Because why am I advocating for poor people who either don't vote or vote for Trump? If they don't see the value in Democratic policies, fuck it. Take them away.

Why should I argue for unions when it's those poor uneducated blue collar voters who would benefit from them?

Why do I argue for pro choice when women don't even care enough to show up and vote for it?

Why argue for people who are protecting illegals?

Why argue for people who are in low paying jobs? In a country where anyone can get themselves out of poverty. It just takes work.

Why argue for sending our money to Africa?

Why should I defend public schools when I know they suck?

And even if I agree with liberals, we lost. We're going to do it Trump's way.

Why would I argue with cutting the government in half? Cut it!

Why would I argue against sending illegals home?

Why would I argue to continue sending Africa billions of dollars a year? Or Israel. We need to cut them off too.

We used to be the largest creditor country in the world. Back then I get why we did those things. But today we are in debt over our heads. Time to cut them off.

I quoted Trump's praise of Democrats and his desire to see Pelosi impeach Bush countless times during the 2016 campaign. I quoted his desire to cut and run from Iraq. I quoted his multiple times saying he wants single payer healthcare. I quoted his praise of Hillary as Secretary of State. I posted his Democrat voter registration.

I warned over and over Trump is a New York limousine liberal Democrat.

I warned Trump was going to lead his cult into the far left cave.

Trump has proven me correct so many times I've lost count.

You are still kind of stuck in the Cult.

Everyone already knew or are starting to realize that there is no value in Democrat policies.

But Trump has turned his back on what he believes and now serves his constituents. He doesn't believe in God but her serves Christians. He doesn't care about gays but he attacks gays for his homophobic constituents. Trump doesn't mind going along with gun nuts even if personally he believes in common sense gun regulations.

If he thinks Bill was good, he probably deep down believes Obama did a good job getting us out of Bush's mess. But he couldn't say that because he decided in 2008 to run as a Republican. Obama owned the Democratic party. So he even went full blown racist even if he personally isn't a racist. Some say he is, but let's just put it this way. He doesn't have to believe Obama was born in Kenya to spread that lie around.

Trump does not serve Christians. Church attendance plummeted when he became president. See the red line (Never Attend) below.

Right-thinking people detest hypocrisy. When they see so-called Christians supporting a known serial adulterer, unrepentant thief, prolific bearer of false witness, and covetous lech, they turn against Christianity. Right-thinking people know that when you mix politics and religion, religion suffers, as Alexis de Tocqueville pointed out 200 years ago.

Doesn't this make you wonder why the cult chose a lying hypocrite over more than a dozen actual conservatives in 2016?

It certainly makes me wonder.

Yet the rubes fell for Trump's scam. Way too easily.

In fact, I am certain that is why Trump switched sides in 2011. He saw just how far off the reservation the GOP had gone, having been hijacked by psychos, hypocrites, racists, and retards.

This was a wide open invitation for a world-class grifter, and explains why the rubes chose him over actual conservatives.

There are no more conservatives in the GOP.

You forget how Trump won the Republican primaries. The tea party. And people who left the GOP because it's full of RINO's. Trump attacked RINO's even though the truth is, he's one himself.

They don't care. Trump got more done with abortion than the very religious GW Bush ever did. Although he too appointed Heritage Foundation judges.

That's it! Perfect example of how Trump is just going along with his new party. He would have probably preferred to appoint liberal judges but Democrats rejected him. So now he's going to go ful blown Republican on them/us.

Look at the first thing Trump did his first presidency. First thing he did was ban trannies from the military. Come on! He doesn't care about trannies being in the military! But his constituents do. And gays are easy to pick on. They are a very small minority. Easy punching bag. Plus 20% of them are log cabin Republicans themselves.

As I have said countless times for over a decade, repealing Roe V. Wade would have zero impact on the number of abortions in the US.

Since the repeal, my claim is being borne out.

What's more, Trump has reverted to his former pro-abortion stance and now supports abortion up to 15 weeks.

Trump is a master at triangulation, exceeding even the Clintons in that respect.

As I have also pointed out for more than a decade, 2/3 of Americans do not support abortion beyond the first trimester, which is why Trump now supports first trimester abortions, but not beyond that.

Trump's pro-abortion stance is not spoken of in pro-life circles. They willfully blind themselves to his betrayal.

You're the only other person besides me I ever hear use the word triangulate.
