What do you think about blue lives matter?

There are 10s of thousands of police officers on duty every minute or every day and they interact with a million people a day. How often does an officer actually do something wrong? A very small fraction of them on occasion.

But the news and social media will talk about one bad incident over and over and over again making it seem like it's happening constantly.

We need police. Their mere presence keeps a lot of people from doing things they shouldn't be doing. We have seen what happens to places like California and Chicago when their presence is just reduced.

Honestly police need better pay, more respect, and more appreciation. When you diminish those two things you end up with a lower grade of police because the better quality ones say "I'm not putting up with all of that for that much money".

We also need to start treating criminals like criminals again. Our society is going in the wrong direction when we build statues for dope head felon criminals, allows riots to happen over some criminal getting shot because they were doing criminal shit, letting criminals sue and win and so on. Want to reduce police? Then reduce crime and your need for cops goes down. What kind of society wants to blame police and stick up for criminals?

I'll support even a bad officer any day of the week over a criminal.

Good point about better education and pay..it would work so much better if instead of pay outs to sketchy people put that money into pay and pensions

We need police.

We need good police not protecting their feelings by covering for abusive officers

Good Police do not want thugs in their midst and cleaning them out does everybody good
