What exactly do you think the US will look like under a one-party, Democrat controlled state?

The GOP is crumbling and they're still trying to play offense. Once they finish losing Texas it's over. What do you think we'll look like under a leftist one party state after that happens? Personally I envision a mixture of Russia immediately after the collapse of the USSR and modern day Detroit.

Pick one.

We have two parties virtually indistinguishable from each other, and they both live on the right. While they suck at differentiating from each other in any meaningful way, they're very good at colluding to exclude any other party or philosophy. So we already have a one-party state.
