What if Bergdahl repents and reaffirms his allegiance to the USA?

'I was such a confused guy. I didn't understand how bad the Taliban was and how wonderful the USA is!

What if he disavows all former actions and statements and becomes a born again American?

Do you forgive him?

I would. But only conditionally.

As long as the rest of his life is spent preaching the virtues of Liberty, okay. Let him free to live his life as he can.

But the minute he veers from that path and course, lock his ass up to finish his sentence.

The rumors of desertion and walking off his base voluntarily have been out there for the last 10 days. The video speaks volumes if you know what to look for and I don’t mean having to be trained to read body language, etc. It is common sense.
