What is the movie(s) you've been watching lately?

I saw the latest Ghostbusters.........was watchable, but not anything notable.

Beetlejuice 2...........what a shitfest that was. And theres talk of a Beetlejuice ressurection movie? The original was perfect, should have left it alone.

Venom 3..........again, it was watchable, but nothing notable.

Maze Runner........yawn

Hellboy, The Crooked Man...........pretty good.

I agree on the newest Ghostbusters.

I enjoyed Beetlejuice 2, but it was definitely more of a nostalgia movie than any sort of good stand alone thing.

I thought both of the first 2 Venom movies were pretty bad. I don't know if I'll bother with the third.

I don't even remember the Maze Runner movies, but I'm pretty sure I saw at least 1. My lack of memory of them makes me think they were uninspired at best.

I haven't seen that Hellboy yet, but I'll probably give it a try at some point.

My favorite Roddy McDowell movie. I know he has done some fine stuff but this to me is his best. Maybe because it is based on one of my favorite stories. Kidnapped by RLS.

I don't know how many of you are aware of it, but a second Christmas Story film was done about three years ago. I saw it for the first time about a week ago. It's about Ralphie being grown up with a wife and kids of his own, and yes, the original actor is playing the role, but the other boys from the original film are in it too.

God bless you and the cast members always!!!

Holly

P.S. What did I think of the film? It was good to see how things turned out for the boys, but fair warning, at the beginning of the film, Ralphie gets unexpected bad news.

I just rewatched The Good the Bad and the Ugly. Impressive how they could make a full 2 hours and 41-minute movie using only enough dialog for a 30-minute TV show. I guess all those gun fights and scenes where they just stare at each other took up most of the time.
