On The Way Home To Earth
Fox News Channel said Friday it has parted ways now with host Eric Bolling, who had been suspended last month following mere allegations that he sent lewd photos to female co-workers, nothing proved.

Fox is also cancelling the program Bolling hosted, "The Specialists." No loss there. Meanwhile, Fox Business Network is now reinstating Charles Payne, another pinball move, a host who had been suspended while the network had investigated charges of sexual misconduct. Apparently THOSE charges proved baseless.

Bolling had been working at Fox for 10 years and had been considered a rising star, one of its more vociferous supporters of President Donald Trump. He had the lead role on "The Specialists," which aired at 5 p.m. ET.

Fox said in a statement that the network and Bolling had agreed to part ways amicably.

What the hell is going on with Fox? I find it stretching credibility that so many at Fox News have been involved in continued sexual wrongdoing, especially after so many heavy hitters at Fox have already taken an axe for SUPPOSEDLY doing so!

Now, most every good person Fox once had is gone.

And oddly, all of these people have been men as the network increasing fills itself with women, AFAIK, none of the people charged have had the sexual allegations PROVEN against them, and most if not all of those fired have been supporters or at least partial to Trump. Who next, Hannity?

Hannity can bail anytime he pleases that is in his contract. The problem at Fox are Murdocks liberal sons. Sooner than later O'Reilly is going to Newsmax or OAN then Fox has a problem.

Not sure why that'd be a problem. But O'Reilly is fishing for a network job if he is to come out of retirement.

Well my point was if you can sign O'Reilly most likely others will follow. There is a huge number of talented conservatives out there. Mark Steyn would make a good host.

You could have a point; but I think the cable news see their competition as being on cable for the time being. When they don't have the critical mass, then that might change.

What is even more concerning is that Bolling's son died yesterday. No more information than that or why. He was 19.
I read online he committed suicide and he was stressed about the allegations against his father. Really hope it's not true.

FOX blows big chunks of BS.

I would love to see OAN get a major league star like O'Rilly?

:)

Hannity, Payne, that morning show, and Dobbs are the only times I turn that BS on.

We can hope so.

Sean Hannity has been accused as well, but he fired back saying he will sue the hell out of anyone accusing him.

It's all out war on conservatives, the left wings pretty desperate now-a-days.

Fox could do with some new talent, they're getting kinda stale.

You poor suckers that are addicted to TV news like it is crack cocaine.

:lmao:

Most of these people aren't journalists, and don't report news, they're commentators, so claiming it's 'cable news' isn't true; CNN and MSNBC of course are frauds and keep trying to peddle their rubbish as 'news' when all they are is DNC hacks for hire.

O'Reilly still has his website, and has a regular weekly spot on Glenn Beck's morning radio show, for those who have a jones for him. I don't consider him a journalist, and don't recall him claiming to be one, even his show was called 'The Spin' or something like that, iirc.

Never heard of Bolling, nor ever watched the Fox cable channel or any other cable channel in a long time, so I don't know if he was a journalist or not; doesn't sound like he was one from what I gather here.. I do watch the local Fox news shows, which are regular news type shows, and turn off the 'Star' type stuff after the real news goes off. The news segments on talk radio have far more real news than any other source, since newspapers have become ridiculously over-priced with few pages now, and of course the 'Breaking News' forums on several message boards are always helpful, especially with the more obscure news, and foreign news.

The 'Economist' is my favorite source, especially for global coverage; I can easily ignore their spin, so that doesn't bother me much. The WSJ also covers a lot of stories, and its spin is also easy to spot and ignore as well.

Yep. Fox is circling the drain. Where will you get your misinformation when they're gone?

Murdoch doesnt have any political leaning other than Murdoch First. If they are changing Fox it is for commercial reasons rather than any liberalising intent.
