These games are unwatchable, probably only for fans of their own team, but I still find myself watching because there is top level (and not top level) college players, some drafted, some not, fighting for a roster spot.

Yesterday Mahomes played and made a defensive end look like he forgot which team he was on. Another kid I've never heard of was QB for the Raiders and he was throwing some great passes. Even Carson Wentz came in for Mahomes and looked like a superstar.

And, Trubisky is awful no matter how much he plays. I can't believe he still can't hit an open receiver and is still in the league.

I’ve watched both Las Vegas Raiders Preseason loses ( will watch the Niners / Raiders game next week )

They are only interesting to see who will be QB. I thought the kid who played the 4th looks better than Aiden or Minshew. Do you know where he played in college?

Southern College Division 2 ?

Carter Bradley will be # 3 ( Not Veteran Nathan Peterman )
Peterman is another who manages to hang on in the league. Glad the new rule is all teams have 3 QB's, I think Bradley will be playing this year.

They used to play their starters in these games

Now, you get to watch one teams third string play the other teams fourth string trying to figure who to cut

The Raiders played many Starters for entire Game ( Especially Defensive Rotational Starters )

mostly my own team. saints play 9ers tonight, but we won't be seeing much of mccaffery or taysom hill.

i like to see the new players and such. and its mostly a "guy thing" anyway.

I usually watch the last Redskins (or whatever they are called this year) pre-season game for the first half.

These games are unwatchable ...

Still better than everything else on TV ... are you watching Survivor: Bakersfield or Return to Gilligan's Island instead? ...

I know where the "off" switch is ... but DAMN I miss gridiron football ... a summer full of Olympic association football has me biting my fingernails up to the second joint ...

That's interesting, even though I don't understand a word of it.

I hate to admit it but "LOST" on netflix has me hooked.

Six seasons, no negro-casted commercials for the "win". ;)

Doesn't it bother anyone that the NFL has Official Betting Partners? ... {Cite} ...

Are you kidding? Betting on football is why I pay attention to the league in the first place.

Were it not for wagering I would only watch the games and not even care about the outcome.

[sigh] ...

I played football when I was young ... but I'm old now and can only watch ... I bleed 49er Scarlet ... puss over Giants Orange ... and piss Seals Teal ...

Don't bother with pre season other than check the injury list.

Better question yet,who is stupid enough to watch the NFL still,a sport that is scripted.purchasing old nfl games over the net from the 70s and 80s when the game was not corrupt as it is now from game traders is the only way to fly and the only time anybody should view the nfl now these days.
This last Super Bowl went exactly as I knew it would beforehand, goddell is the worst commissioner ever, under his watch superbowls always come down to the wire cause that’s what he wants, did anybody here seriously not know in advance that the chiefs would win in the final minutes and it would come down to the wire? Come on seriously.these games are as scripted and as phony as pro wrestling, has been ever sense early 2000s,so what fool would keep watching the NFL?

Give me YouTube and the games from the seventys and 80 s anyday of the year over the crap we have now.
