Americans are locked into the 8-hour workday, 40-hour work week, age 65 retirement. Ask most financially successful people and they will tell you that this is a recipe for failure for most. Also, just 'doing your job' ensures the success of your employer, and failure for you. And, because most cannot afford to pay cash for the lifestyle that they feel entitled to they go deeply in debt to achieve it. There is also a laziness in human nature that many succumb to, especially if they don't like their job. Then there is the attitude that success will come without extra effort and sacrifice. Most also don't appreciate the connection between health and financial success, and indulge in habits that literally destroy their health, along with their chances for financial success.
Of course, things happen that are beyond our control, but that's another story.

Don't have children?
Biblical advice. Secure your occupation or profession, then build your family.

Children used to be an economic asset to a family as they were put to work as soon as they could be helpful. Today children are more often a huge liability to family economic success.

That is what the earliest effectively saw and a Deep State Elite was born.

There the Sheeple have the choice to comply or reject .

So, Deep State pre-empts and forces you to be system slave or be dealt with .

Which is where we are now .

The Elite solve problems with impunity . The Sheeple try to be nice and Good .
Guess who wins?

The main reason I am not a Husband and Father is I never was secure in my occupation and profession. I made money enough to take care of my self and help out my parents some but that was it.

It is a growing trend in america. Lots of dual income no kids couples. People are finding it's hard to work 40 us hours per week and raise a kid. Many are opting out of the traditional route and that isn't going to change anytime soon.

Both parents working outside of the home used to be an option, not a necessity. Our economy is worse than we think.

Never miss an opportunity to learn something new even if it is easier, faster or cheaper to pay someone else to do it. You never know when a jack of all trades, master of none skill set can come in handy. It is easier than ever to learn to do yourself with the internet and youtube guides.

One of my brothers and his wife make almost as much as we do and they will never be able to retire. They hemorrhage cash paying other people to do things for them, eating out all the time, and going on more vacations a year than Joe Biden.

Recipe for financial and personal success:

--Stay in school and educate yourself.
--Be willing to work whatever Mcjobs you can get to develop a work ethic, experience, references.
--Stay away from illegal substances and activities
--Develop social skills including dressing for success and mastering courtesy, etiquette, good manners.
--Protect your reputation with honesty, ethics, integrity, taking responsibility for yourself.
--Develop important knowledge and skills that make you valuable to an employer or that you need to be successful in your own business.
--Don't have kids until you have married a responsible life partner.
--Live within your means, do not go into debt for anything you don't absolutely need or that will not likely increase in value, save a little every month, and don't expect anybody but yourself to fund your lifestyle.

Money is not all there is to live life.
"Money isn't everything, but it can buy everything."

"Money isn't the only thing, but it's way ahead of whatever is in second place."

"Money answereth all things." -Somewhere in the Bible.

Having kids very young and before you are financially and emotionally ready for them often leads to a difficult life for the kids and parents. Not always but most of the time it leads to problems.
Avoiding marriage and kids is a very smart way to go in the future america

The lifestyle of of which you speak is the lifestyle their parents and grandparents enjoyed, often with one person working.

Decent home, decent car, annual vacations, gifts at Christmas, etc.

The only thing delaying the revolution is credit cards. Stay tuned.
