Why US and Israel wants to ban this video...

Grendelyn, et al,

I have a basic question about the question.

Why US and Israel wants to ban this video?

(QUESTION)

Who, in the US wants to ban this video?

Who in Israel wants to ban this video?

(COMMENT)

What organizations or agencies are taking such an action? In the US, this is rather difficult to do unless the video itself is material evidence of a crime, or an instrument of a crime (eg Child Pornography). Now, in the US there have been cases where some local entity has caused a local ban.

All I can find on banned videos/films are:

Banned in Israel since 1957:
View attachment 31682
Banned in the US since 1979:
View attachment 31683

Can anyone give me more information on who is taking this cause of action against this video? I've searched and simply cannot find any activity (Governmental or NGO) that is actively attempting to ban it.

Most Respectfully,
R

Rocco, I don't think there is anyone or any organization in either country that is actively trying to ban this video.
The reason for the title of the video is to make it seem more dramatic so people will open it and the uploader will get more views.
There are plenty of videos entitled : '(country x) wants this video removed.

Its a nicely presented video, the young lady is very eloquently putting across what she has experienced and making a few assumptions, but nicely presented...

It's unfortunate that it does become a little bit like the normal 'propaganda'...

This video is mostly factual but does cross over from an account of personal experience to propaganda...

It's more unfortunate the pro Israel supporters here are coming out with insults and abuse aimed toward the narrator.

She doesn't appear to be a "moronic half wit", "ISLAMONAZI", "useful idiot"...

Rather than simply throwing insults why not challenge what he claims she has witnessed? Offer evidence that proves her claims as false!

Is the abuse and insults simply because pro Israel supporters are embarrassed that these facts are being made public and are undeniable?

For my short time here on this forum, that does appear to be the case, often!

You're not interested in other views at all.

Here is what I see here.

Both Daniyel and I are Israeli. Both of us know very well the situation in Israel. While we hold strong opinions that may be against yours (but isn't it the whole idea of debating?) you can indeed learn from our point of view instead looking hours on youtube for opinion that are so conviniently suiting yours.

You had and have the opportinity to ask questions about things that interest you. Most of Anti-Zionist on board had. Yet you chose not to do so, and when we try to point out logical things we're usually called "hasbarats" or some other nonsense, because the overly active anti-Israeli brain can not grasp that Israelis also have some insight that might be helpful.

So again, I ask, why her opinion matters and mine and Daniyel not? is it because you're more convinient with those opinions or because in the first place you're not really interested in listening?

Just curious

Is there not a condensed version?

Not that I know of but thank you for asking. The perspective of what the Palestinians are going through is presented by a beautiful, young, Jewish-American woman. ~ Susan

Why is her perceptive more valued than others?

Because the lying Palestinians believe they have found a lass to present their lies who is so clean and pure and innocent and honest in appearance that she might succeed in doing what their other tactics have failed to do.

To earn the Palestinians the approval of the World.

What they don't understand is that they can NEVER gain respectability as long as they are lying, racist, murderers who are trying to conquer the world.

Shirley Temple herself couldn't wash your sins clean in the eyes of most of the decent people on Earth.

Strangely enough I am interested in ALL views..

No I am not Israeli and I am not some dumbass, gung ho, 'bomb the bastards' American either.

You will see that I didn't post this video link. I don't spend hours searching out opinion that best suits my own. What would the point be in that?

I do indeed learn from pro Israeli opinion and, through my own research, have found a lot of information that supports both Israel and Palestine. I take both opinions onboard. It's a shame that others are not able to do this.

It is quite interesting you're mentioning the word "debating"...

Generally speaking, and you and I have had our little spats in the past, there is NO form of debating here... It is 'black and white' debating neither pro Israeli nor pro Palestine really debate anything... It's mostly shouting the latest opinion from both sides.

A debate requires listening, requires understanding and then debating.

Because opinions on this forum are poles apart, the hatred on this forum blocks any form of debate.

Accusations, insults and mud slinging are not good forms of debate.

Assumptions, of which there are a great many, only go to fuel the hatred.

You see, I never even suggested that the opinion given in the video has more validity than yours.

I asked you a few days ago to show me a post where, you told me, I had threatened you. You either chose to ignore or simply couldn't find. I put my money on couldn't find.

This forum is little more than an Israeli/Palestinian cyber conflict with no solution.

Whilst neither side is prepared to listen, to debate, there will be no peace in this cyber conflict.

Hmmm that sounds familiar!

And to finish off, there are often assumptions made on ones validity to even have an opinion, normally based upon whether one has been to the region. For me this is a pretty mute point and one that has no bearing on whether you can have an opinion or not. I haven't been to the moon but I don't believe that there are aliens inhabiting the moon...

However, I have visited the middle east on several occasions. I have been to Israel and many muslim countries... I have spoken with REAL people about the conflict, about their beliefs, about the solutions... I come to the conclusion that the MAJORITY whether Jew, Muslim, Christian simply want to get on with their lives and not be taken from one conflict to another by their leaders. Doesn't seem to be too much to ask does it?

Brigitte Gabriel says most Muslims are irrelevant when it comes to doing anything to stop the evil fundamentalist Muslims.

So, let's stop discussing them, okay?

Let's discuss the Muslims who make up roughly 25% - 30% of all Muslims. The extremist fundamentalist Muslims. They make up the vanguard of the force of Islam which will do all the heavy lifting.

They are the Jihadists who must not be disregarded out of our bending backwards to be gracious to the irrelevant ones.

They are the ones you didn't talk to. But they exist and they are ready and willing to smite us all by our necks for Allah.

Now.

What are you doing with regard to these Muslims, Sweetness?

Seen the "special" Fox News with Sean Hannity and Brigitte Gabriel?

As my post earlier was heavily weighted on "debate" I think that you will find that neither Sean Hannity or Brigitte Gabriel are capable of debate!

Nice twist of what she said. She said that 'moderate' Muslim views can be irrelevant when it comes to Muslim terror, since their voice is rarely heard, just lake sane German voices were rarely heard when it came to the Nazi Regime.

She didn't say they don't matter, like you make it sound.

Brigitte Gabriel?? Oh please....

Seen the "special" Fox News with Sean Hannity and Brigitte Gabriel?

As my post earlier was heavily weighted on "debate" I think that you will find that neither Sean Hannity or Brigitte Gabriel are capable of debate!

"most Muslims are irrelevant" - Brigitte Gabriel

Nice twist of what she said. She said that 'moderate' Muslim views can be irrelevant when it comes to Muslim terror, since their voice is rarely heard, just lake sane German voices were rarely heard when it came to the Nazi Regime.

She didn't say they don't matter, like you make it sound.

"She didn't say they don't matter, like you make it sound."?

Can you show me in my post where I said "they don't matter"

Making assumptions again... Making things up again...

If you had bothered to read my earlier post you would see that those two things do not enable debate!

Your personal attacks on me on those previous post in the thread about the Israeli toddler killed were niether "debating" nor "opinionated". They included agression and insults, and I saw them as threatening, on top of that. In the PM I said what I had to say and that was the end of discusion there. I kindly did not respond to you in the same offensive manner in which you chose to use, and I closed the discussion there because I found that childish argument stupid and not worth continuining.

That aside, I ask again, which one decides the opinions worth or not worth listening to? For example, Briggitte Gabiriele was mentioned here, and you brushed off her opinions. Can you colaborate on why her opinions don't matter? Why when someone who says and calls Israel "Apartheid state", it is sacred, but a Christian Lebanese who say that "The Palestinians were the ones to attack my family, while the IDF was not the agressor," then the opinion and information is "Israeli propaganda" ?

I assume you are talking about this thread... Letter by parents of Daniel Tregerman to Ban Ki-Moon.. US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

I really do not see anything threatening in there toward you.

In your PM you made accusations that you could not back up, that was the end of the discussion.

Post the offensive PM's here, I would like to see those.

You seem to be hung up with this terrible affliction of making things up...

Where did I say that her opinions don't matter?

I am not so closed minded as you to believe everything that appears in the media from EITHER side...

You are simply proving that you do not have the ability to debate and the hatred that runs through this forum is very real...

Nobody care about this video - just for the record.

I care - Just for the record!
You are neither the US or Israel, so your record doesn't count.

HAHAHA... So because I am neither American nor Israeli my opinion has no validity?
Daniyel is wrong and out of line. She speaks for herself and perhaps a few, very few, that prefer to keep their heads in the sand and opposed to being educated, or more maliciously, others from hearing diverse opinions.

The Israeli Jews are the lying racist, Apartheid loving, land stealin child killers and are not respected by anyone but uninformed Americans. Quit projecting.

I Decided to make you some very nice collage, take a look closely explain to me how my opinion cause you to think I stuck my head in the sand.

Being able to support them, is not irrational but pure insanity, so I might not be educated like Montelatici but there you go, lets praise the education.

The Israeli Jews are the lying racist, Apartheid loving, land stealin child killers and are not respected by anyone but uninformed Americans. Quit projecting.

He is willing to say everything, including support these psychos above just for satisfying his primitive hatred, self conscience and of course enjoy the process.

The Israeli Jews (RACE) are the lying RACIST - and who cares what else - So basically we are pure evil, so it is justify to kill us, I mean the Israeli(and world?) Jews are sooo bad..
