If you think leftish and clamour for a tax on job-killer robots then I have a srarting place for ya:
Tens of thousands of typing pool (mostly womyn) and countless who worked at making carbon paper were out on the street when photocopiers - robots which copy things - became widespread.
Damned COPYBOTS,
Obviously this cries out for a tax, proceeds of which MIGHT go job retraining. But if copy machines are heavily taxed than fewer might be sold and more tens of housands of manufacturing jobs vanish...though mostly in Asia.
So how about a wee, tiny "per copy" tax with a government (unionized) drone standing by every copybot to keep score.
Now THERE'S job crearton liberals HAVE TO love!
