I've seen people stop on the highway because they missed their exit. Not to mention the idiots that drive very slow in the left lane. On the other side of the coin, there's a whole lot of pain that can be avoided if people just slow down. Anyone who has a navigation unit and watches the arrival time will tell you that no one is saving time by speeding.
The woman who stopped in the road is no doubt guilty and needs to answer for her fatal mistake. But I would have a hard time agreeing with a life sentence in jail if that's what it turns out to be.
This is probably going to be an unpopular statement... But why was the man driving that fast in the left lane with his young daughter on the back of his motorcycle of all things??? Those things can be dangerous (and most of the time due to idiot drivers around them, NOT the biker). I question the judgement here of the father AND the women who stopped her car.
