And as far as who or what we should ban I'm simply pointing out what bans would have actually saved lives regardless of the validity of the ban.

Obama's logic if severely flawed and this thread proves it. He doesn't want to curb terrorism by making legal gun purchases difficult. He just wants to make gun purchases difficult, reason be damned.

This so brings to mind the days when I had bought a used car - in great condition - for $50.

When I insured it the agent wanted me to buy collision coverage. I asked him how much it would pay if I totaled it. He said "full market value". And for just $100!
