Would you intervene like Penny did on the subway???

No, i very specifically said right away that i wasnt a badass. YOU are the only guy in this thread who is pushing the tough-guy persona. YOU seem to think youre a badass. Hell, its possible that you are, but you arent knowledgeable when it comes to fighting, or at least certainly not as much as me.
Claiming kung fu is shit, and that you know so because of all your research, definitely falls in the fake tough-guy category

Especially in the context of a thread about a guy who engaged in some hands-on crowd control in a real world, real stakes scenario

At least my expertise, such as it is, on the subject is based in some real life experience

Ok, thats a very good credential. You know more about wrestling than I do, but i do understand wrestling fairly decently for someone who isnt a wrestler. Like, i know what a Granby roll is, for example. I dont go super deep, but deeper than most. Ive watched quite a bit of wrestling. I love watching old Karelin matches.

Do you have an example of it working? Name a single prize fighter who uses kung fu in elite fighting competition. You cant. No one uses that crap. Even Bruce Lee knew it was inferior, "too many fixed positions", he said. Yeah, no shit Bruce. A flat footed tiger claw stance will get you wrecked in a fight.

Daniel Perry did the right thing! He protected others around him like most of you wouldn’t. Including the idiot claiming here he knows about chokeholds and seconds to pass out. Liberals are a fucking joke.

Daniel Penny stepped in and killed a 140-pound man. Would he have done the same if the guy was Shaq's size? No. Or if he was built like Mike Tyson? No.

Yeah, he acted when he thought he could pull it off. I dont see your point. :cuckoo:

Should have let the guy on the train potentially kill someone then?

That guy was not going to kill anyone and if the guy had been bigger Penny wouldn't have done shit.

He was threatening to kill people. You don't know he wouldn't have

You don't know what he would have done

you're focused too much on the black/white issue and not about the guy on the train was threatening people.

Even the other black folks on the train said he was threatening

We know he hadn't done anything to anyone up to that point, that we do know.

You don't know either and neither did Penny. You are the one focusing on black/white because this is why this particular situation is being rehashed again in this forum. I DGAF what you say some other back people said. The reality here is if that had been Lawrence Talyor yelling like that Daniel Penny would have stayed stuck in his seat, but since the guy was 140 lbs., your white her decided to take the law into his own hands.
