The most explosive allegation surrounding Wuhan Virus Research Institute is another fake news circulating on the Internet. Fake news claims that the new coronavirus is actually a biochemical weapon developed by the Chinese authorities and leaked from the Wuhan Virus Research Institute, causing an outbreak.
Most related reports have cited two articles in the U.S. tabloid Washington Times (not related to the major newspaper, the Washington Post); these two articles cited a "former Israeli intelligence officer."
Neither report provided relevant evidence, and Israeli intelligence officials in the article also clearly pointed out that there is currently "no evidence or evidence" that the Wuhan Virus Research Institute has had such a leak.
In addition, the intelligence official disclosed that according to reliable sources, someone at the "Dragon Springs" in Orange County, New York has been infected with the new coronavirus, and the local disease defense department is stepping up investigations.
