I'm trying to figure out why the so called anger? You see it at Trump rallies, a kind of hatred of the other that often leads to evil. Why would anyone be angry when most are doing fine? Surveys show most Trump supporters are middle class. Is the hatred simply tribalism or racism or deep down feelings of insecurity because the nation is changing? Nations always change.
"The main hypothesis concerning group-think is this: the more amiability and espirt de corps among the members of an in-group of policymakers the greater the danger that independent critical thinking will be replaced by groupthink, which is likely to result in irrational and the dehumanizing actions directed at out-groups." Irving L. Janis in 'Sanctions for Evil'
a certain demographic of uneducated white males think the world has changed and that white males don't run things anymore. they're angry and feel that they're being walked on by minorities and women. they feel like they weren't listened to when mccain ran and they feel they weren't listened to when romney ran because neither of those candidates would do what donald is and go full on bigot.
and they can say what they want but that's the real truth....which is why the white supremacists, kkk'ers, neo-nazis feel they have a "voice" in donald.
