How does Obama differ from George W. Bush?

Perhaps a better question would be how he differs from Obama. Police statists: both of them. Warmongers: both of them. U.S. empire: both of them. Welfare: both of them. Drug war: both of them. Drone strikes: both of them. Kill Americans without trial if they are suspected terrorists: both of them.

On the serious issues that matter there is no difference between Bush and Obama.

Perhaps, but with Obama we don’t have to suffer theneo-cons, the radical fiscal right, Christian fundamentalists, and social conservatives enjoying access to the power and authority of the Executive Branch as with GWB, with disastrous results.

The public doesn't do a great job with original critical thinking, and are extraordinarily prone to distraction and manipulation. When CNN says that this is this or that is that folks will literally swallow it whole without a single question or original thought on the subject.

I ask..why people?

Where's our drive to question things, and to investigate? Folks seem to accept that Corporations are manipulative and will harm us in the name of profit, but never seem to translate that same distrust to our 'trusted' mediasphere.

When people begin to educate themselves independent of mainstream sources, that's when these guys are gonna have a big problem on their hands.

Are you saying that Bush was a Republican and Obama is a Democrat? How long did it take you to figure that out?

With Obama we have to suffer the socialists, the radical confiscatory left, state supremacists, socialists enjoying access to power and authority of the Executive Branch with disastrous results.
