Your weight is actually a few pounds less at higher elevation than lower due to weaker gravity
At the equator it’s much less due to 2 factors : one is faster earth rotation ( which is trying to push you off the earth ) and weaker gravity at the equator due to living on widest parts of the planet

It’s interesting that if you watch a rocket launched from earth is that it will immediately break sideways during launch . This is because it needs to reach 5 miles per second to break earths gravity and get into earths orbit

Centripetal force is not a real force but the byproduct of other real forces

Centrifugal force is an apparition of our frame of reference ... it does no work ...

Centripetal forces can be real ... the word "centripetal" refers to the force's direction ... "pointed toward the center" ... of course many many forces, both real and fiction, can be orientated this way ... most famous is the electrostatic forces holding a child's top in it's solid state, and we depend on this "centripetal" force to explain many of the top's behaviors ...
