Here is a perspective that doesn't come out much in coverage of this endless war. Zelensky has declared martial law, cancelled elections, has outlawed and persecuted opposition including religious groups, has taken to virtually kidnapping men into his army, and would likely lose if there were a fair election in Ukraine today. If/when this war ends, he is history - and not in a good way.

Regardless of anything, Ukraine will never go back to what it was ten years ago, and it will never become a member of NATO. Its saving graces are tremendous agricultural potential, a wealth of minerals including rare earth metals, and a noble population if they all decide to come back. The world cannot let Zelensky's vanity stand in the way of a rational end to this conflict.

Rest assured, no matter how things play out the American Media will portray it as a defeat or failure for TRUMP. The rationale they will use is yet to be seen.

Interesting point, if the war ends the aid dries up and everyone in the Ukraine skimming money will be out of luck. Also, every country giving aid will run for the exits leaving Ukraine a bombed out bankruptcy.

As I had stated, there was only ONE proposal - and therefore YOU are WRONG

And NO - Putin never rejected it - NATO and Ukraine rejected it, since they believed that they could win this war against Russia.

Due to the successful September 2022, offensive. The Kharkiv counteroffensive liberating most of that province. Another southern counteroffensive resulted in the liberation of Kherson in November. And Putin was aware of hundreds of NATO tanks and artillery that had been agreed upon to arrive by March/April 2023.

So YOU are wrong again.

Is martial law unreasonable when your country is being invaded? Elections have been cancelled in accordance wth the Ukrainian constitution. Churches that were backed by and spying for Putin were raided. What you call kidnapping the rest of the world calls a conscription or a draft. If a weaker and much smaller America were invaded I suspect the same would happen. Most small countries with fears of invasion have conscription. Heck, if America without any NATO allies was ever invaded there could very well be a draft to fight.

Considering Zal was just chillin' and Putin amassed 100,000 troops on his border for a full scale invasion that did occur and these people blame Zal, I wonder if these same people blame the wives for being beaten by the husbands because she didn't do as she was told?
