No... He wants people talking about it. He wants to say "I told you so" when the democrats do it.. only.. It would be MORBIDLY STUPID for them to do it now. So... In the end, he gets what he wants either way.

I mean sure, he takes a hit with the people who were never going to vote for him in the first place... But... Pandering them them is just as stupid really.
