Which one did Bush watch on real time video streamed by an unarmed drone then did nothing to help the doomed American Ambassador and then lied about in order to protect his re-election bid and then lied about it afterwards, when the dead men's bodies were brought home and the Secretary of State lied to the parents of the dead?

Yeah, point me to that instance.

Yeah, point me to that instance.

AFRICOM General Carter Ham advised the administration that the situation at the Benghazi outpost was too dangerous to send people into. He worried that if you just send a team in on the fly, more people could die needlessly.

He testified before the House Armed Services committee and Gen. Dempsey, the head of the Joint Chiefs concurred.

There was no lie. The administration and Susan Rice were given their talking points from David Patreus (Dubya's guy) and the CIA. Their initial guess was that extremists used the anti-Muslim video to rile people up and that it led to several outbursts in different countries.

Benghazi has been investigated 7 or 8 times already. There is no lie. There is no conspiracy. Sometimes bad shit happens in the world in places where our people are.

The only lies are the ones some really stupid people on the Republican side continue to tell themselves. They exist in a strange and detached echo chamber where they invent stupid bullshit like this and then never learn or let it go because they'd rather cling to their lie than admit the truth.

I hope the investigation goes on all year because the public is watching Republicans make asses of themselves in front of all of us just like they did when they caused the shutdown and almost caused the default before that.

[ame=http://youtube.com/watch?v=meIL1QaOt1s]Lack of Budget Not a Factor in Benghazi Security Decisions - YouTube[/ame]
Yep, and he already knows it. He does it to try to save face for Clinton by lying.
For the past few years, House Republicans have continued to deprioritize the security forces protecting State Department personnel around the world. In fiscal year 2011, lawmakers shaved $128 million off of the administration's request for embassy security funding. House Republicans drained off even more funds in fiscal year 2012 -- cutting back on the department's request by $331 million.

Just thought I would show a link to some facts in case anybody cared.
Barbara Boxer?s claim that GOP budgets hampered Benghazi security - The Washington Post

I understand why the left wing hacks lie. I just don't understand why their lies are so stupid and so easily disproven.

Those reports, most have raised more questions. Kind of hard to get a complete report when witnesses and documents have been withheld.

And certainly, the Bush administration wouldn't lie to cover up potential negative press from the 911 attack ...

Q: Had there been any warnings that the president knew of?

Ari Fleischer: No warnings.

Feel free to read the 9/11 commission report one of these days.

I have.

It's a farce.

And that's the part they let us read.

The redacted stuff is a bit more interesting.
Then I know you also read about the walls Clinton had put up between agencies.

I love how they act as though the warnings were so specific. They are revealing they are truthers. Hell they still think Bush lied about wmds even though democrats propagated their existence before took office.

Genetal warnings and that is the liberal ureka evidence.

Liberals should have been flushed or swallowed.

That nobly they enlisted because of what happened on 9/11 and spent time at war in Iraq mean or require that they believed the attack came from Iraq.

We don't know what the knew for certain except that they probably knew that the attack emanated from terrorists led by OBL who was hiding in Afghanistan.

The vast majority very likely knew that Saddam Hussein had offered up and paid $25k to the families of any terrorist who suicided himself against American interests, and therefore was a state sponsor of terrorism.

That was substantiated by the gutted out Boeing 727 in the desert at Salman Pak that was ostensibly used for training would be terrorist in the practice of hi-jacking planes in the spirit of the 9/11 attack.

NOW Deanie; please post any credible poll or survey that substantiated your 90% claim.

True.

Saddam Rewards Suicide Bombers' Families

Laughable.

This was a ploy by Saddam Hussein to get back street cred after going to bed with America and attacking Iran.

Then getting stabbed in the back by his bedmate.

Funny you folks keep bringing this up.

Iraq, under Hussein, never planned or financed terrorist attacks against America.

[...]
No, not true. Those payouts had nothing to do with America and everything to do Hussein's support of Palestinian attacks against Israel.
Iraq is [SIC] one of seven countries that have been designated by the Secretary of State as state sponsors of international terrorism. UNSCR 687 prohibits Saddam Hussein from committing or supporting terrorism, or allowing terrorist organizations to operate in Iraq. Saddam continues to violate these UNSCR provisions.

In 1993, the Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS) directed and pursued an attempt to assassinate, through the use of a powerful car bomb, former U.S. President George Bush and the Emir of Kuwait. Kuwaiti authorities thwarted the terrorist plot and arrested 16 suspects, led by two Iraqi nationals.

Iraq shelters terrorist groups including the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO), which has used terrorist violence against Iran and in the 1970s was responsible for killing several U.S. military personnel and U.S. civilians.

Iraq shelters several prominent Palestinian terrorist organizations in Baghdad, including the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF), which is known for aerial attacks against Israel and is headed by Abu Abbas, who carried out the 1985 hijacking of the cruise ship Achille Lauro and murdered U.S. citizen Leon Klinghoffer.

Iraq shelters the Abu Nidal Organization, an international terrorist organization that has carried out terrorist attacks in twenty countries, killing or injuring almost 900 people. Targets have included the United States and several other Western nations. Each of these groups have offices in Baghdad and receive training, logistical assistance, and financial aid from the government of Iraq.

In April 2002, Saddam Hussein increased from $10,000 to $25,000 the money offered to families of Palestinian suicide/homicide bombers. The rules for rewarding suicide/homicide bombers are strict and insist that only someone who blows himself up with a belt of explosives gets the full payment. Payments are made on a strict scale, with different amounts for wounds, disablement, death as a "martyr" and $25,000 for a suicide bomber. Mahmoud Besharat, a representative on the West Bank who is handing out to families the money from Saddam, said, "You would have to ask President Saddam why he is being so generous. But he is a revolutionary and he wants this distinguished struggle, the intifada, to continue."

Former Iraqi military officers have described a highly secret terrorist training facility in Iraq known as Salman Pak, where both Iraqis and non-Iraqi Arabs receive training on hijacking planes and trains, planting explosives in cities, sabotage, and assassinations.

Yep. Some just cannot admit to themselves that they are wrong. History is not on their side, much less the truth.

Feel free to read the 9/11 commission report one of these days.

Oh look ... a warning.

AUGUST '01 BRIEF IS SAID TO WARN OF ATTACK PLANS - New York Times

Oh look... an idiot.
There are lots of warnings about lots of different attacks a day. Just ask Clinton. He was given the same warnings.

Rightard, who said there aren't lots of warnings? My point is that the Bush administration lied about there being no warnings, which I pointed out in regard to some claiming that Bush didn't lie to cover up attacks. You tacitly denied there were warnings by suggesting I brush up on the 911 Commission Report.

And yes, Clinton did receive the similar warnings. Only unlike Bush, he took action to prevent hijackings and there was no 911 type attack on his watch. Too bad Bush didn't do the same to prevent the attack, huh?

IMO your interpretation is far too narrow.

Saddam’s aim was anything western, and Palestine was where he could constantly do the most damage with the most willing of tools. The bolded text show how far his reach was as a purveyor and sponsor of terrorism.

Hence the actual reason Obama would have had no grounds to investigate like they all wanted him to do. They are so stupid that they actually thought he would.

There has never been anything close to even a hint that Bush ever comitted war crimes, except from the loud idiots from the moronic left wing media and the hypocrites in hollywood.

The left wingers in this country (especially the ones that post on here) are nothing short of simple puppets being fed lines of utter bullshit from the praetorian media.

It would be comical if there werent so many of them.

That one is particularly laughable, since it was the Saudis that "thwarted" the effort and summarily executed most of the participants. They did that in spite of the fact that the CIA wanted to question them.

What is known by most of the world is that the Saudis have been directing America to attack it's enemies for years. Iraq was on that hit list.

Well no.

Saddam's "aim" was to drum up Arab support to thwart an American takeover of his country.

He failed of course.

To bad the Republicans in Congress were more interested in bringing down his presidency then protecting America.

Now why does that sound so familiar!
