I ran across this 1888 Enfield Mk I rifle that had been converted to a .22 single shot by C. G. Bonehill of Birmingham, England.
It's in decent shape and shoots well.....No stock cracks.
It have lived a interesting life being made as a MK I .401 cal. rifle....Converted into a 577/450 MK IV....Then the Bonehill .22 conversion....This one was made for The Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs.
