$3.5T Not As Big As You Might Think

No. It means that they DO ADD to the debt
Different issue, which is also a lie as has been demonstrated in this thread.

Tell us how it is a cost to the govt to let someone keep more of the money he earned. You can't do it, can you?

You are a moron, or a liar.....................or both. My money is on both.

Right, let's start with your tax dodging, dear leader.

"The only years that anybody's ever seen were a couple of years when he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn't pay any federal income tax," Clinton said.
Trump quickly retorted: "That makes me smart."

Food conglomerate Archer Daniels Midland enjoyed $438 million of U.S. pretax income last year and received a federal tax rebate of $164 million.

The delivery giant FedEx zeroed out its federal income tax on $1.2 billion of U.S. pretax income in 2020 and received a rebate of $230 million.

The shoe manufacturer Nike didn’t pay a dime of federal income tax on almost $2.9 billion of U.S. pretax income last year, instead enjoying a $109 million tax rebate.

The cable TV provider Dish Network paid no federal income taxes on $2.5 billion of U.S. income in 2020.

Amazon, Netflix, Chevron, Eli Lilly, Delta Airlines, General Motors, IBM and Goodyear were among the tax-free corporate titans.

I don't care what that cow Rachel Maddow told you to think.

If Trump cheated on his taxes the IRS would have gone after him.

Your list of Corps means nothing. Many corps have paid nothing going back decades. Nothing new, and not a result of Trump's across the board tax cuts.

Do you take every deduction allowed by law? That is also dodging taxes. Shame on you!

You want to blame anyone for these tax laws, blame Congress they wrote the laws and the deductions and the tax credits. They are to blame, the rich, writing laws for the rich, who in the hell do you think they’ll favor?

Then explain how letting an individual keep more of the money he earns is a cost to the govt.

No other explanation other than you think all money belongs to the govt.

Can't have it both ways, Stupid.
Let you explain, moron?
' one has to believe all money belongs to the government'.

Now you claim 'more'.

Of course, bring up Trump's ONE year the grifter paid his taxes out of 20?
NOW, Trumptards trust the IRS?

'Your list of Corps means nothing',
Sure it does, idiot, someone has to cover it.
Guess you're willing to pick up the dinner tab for the entire restaurant every Friday?

Or like Trump, dine and dash.

I have no idea what Trump paid in taxes in any year. Neither do you. You know who does? The IRS.

And your list of Corps does mean nothing since you lied about it being a result of Trump's across the board tax cuts when this has been going on for decades.

' one has to believe all money belongs to the government'.

Now you claim 'more'.

For it to cost the govt to let an individual keep more of the money he earns it has to be assumed that money first belonged to the govt. If the money doesn't first belong to the govt it can't cost them anything to not get something they never owned. There is no other explanation needed.

You won't comprehend this because your rely on Dimwinger talking points for every thought. You can't think for yourself.

McConnell's destroying the good faith and credit of the nation appears to be based upon this lie.

Some 97 percent of U.S. debt was incurred before President Biden became president, and

Default, triggered by failure to raise the debt ceiling, would be disastrous for the country, but McConnell’s priority is party not country. He operates from a simple, but importantly valid, insight: if things go badly in the country, it hurts the party that controls the White House.
Whether it’s an economy gone sour, a war gone wrong, or even shark attacks gone wild, scores of studies show bad outcomes in the real-world lead to fewer seats for the White House party and more for the opposition.
In other words, McConnell’s strategy is politically smart, albeit morally repugnant.
It wouldn't be as bad as continuing to the debt ceiling--------

Yeah, republicans in congress have been passing corporate tax cuts into law since Reagan.
Just like now, since Clinton, republicans cry every time democrats propose a corporate tax increase.

President Trump kicked off his holiday weekend at Mar-a-Lago Friday night at a dinner where he told friends, "You all just got a lot richer," referencing the sweeping tax overhaul he signed into law hours earlier.

The president has spent many weekends of his presidency so far at the "Winter White House," where initiation fees cost $200,000, annual dues cost $14,000, and some of the most affluent members of society have the opportunity to interact with the president in a setting while many Americans cannot.

Who told you that?

'If the money doesn't first belong to the govt it can't cost them anything to not get something they never owned. There is no other explanation needed'.

WOW.
So, all the $$$, general contractors, LLC's and sole owners of businesses that should pay their taxes every quarter, shouldn't pay anything at all, because the $$$ wasn't taken out of their paycheck, first?

I can comprehend it, I can't believe someone that stupid could get even dumber by posting such brain dead BS.

Since 1988 after O’Neil and Reagan cut a great many tax breaks were eliminated since then a Congress of Democrats and Republicans put them back in. So if you think 2017 was the only year tax breaks were passed then you are not being honest.

Reagan started his tax cut disaster in 1981.

The Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 (ERTA), or Kemp-Roth Tax Cut, was an Act that introduced a major tax cut, which was designed to encourage economic growth. The federal law enacted by the 97th US Congress and signed into law by US President Ronald Reagan.

Republican presidents have followed suite every time one is president.

Why do you feel their pretax income was $1.2 billion?
