When will Republicans learn?
That formula is as stale as a mummy's tomb. Taxes were cut and the benefits went largely to the well off.

The fact is that we have certain needs that need to be filled to level the playing field. It is not $3.5 trillion. It is more like $1.75 billion over 10 years. That averages out to $175 billion a year. A sum that could be raised by giving the IRS the money to ensure that taxes are being paid according to current law.
