4 Separate shootings in 10 days in Birmingham, England, where they banned and confiscated guns.

Wow. 2 dead over 10 days. We have about 92 gun deaths per day. I don't think there is much to compare. England is doing it right. I wish we could get our gun death rate that low.

You still can't explain this....

We went from 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s and 4.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 1997...to close to 400-600 million guns in private hands and over 17 million people carrying guns for self defense in 2017...guess what happened...

Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware

Compared with 1993, the peak of U.S. gun homicides, the firearm homicide rate was 49% lower in 2010, and there were fewer deaths, even though the nation’s population grew. The victimization rate for other violent crimes with a firearm—assaults, robberies and sex crimes—was 75% lower in 2011 than in 1993. Violent non-fatal crime victimization overall (with or without a firearm) also is down markedly (72%) over two decades.

If only the UK was as safe as the US.......................................................

We never let the German bomb us.

Suicide does not count

2 gun deaths in 10 days. We have 920 each 10 days. You think 918 of those were suicide?

And you try to hide the truth behind the murder rate, which was low before they banned and confiscated guns. They banned and confiscated guns on the promise that gun crime would go down in Britain...it went up, and has continued to go up......

Did someone from England break your heart? We have lots of gun crime. They don't have much. Not much is better.

You don't hear about all the gun crime in Britain because they don't like to advertise the failure of their gun control laws.....

Man shot dead in Birmingham's second fatal shooting in a week

A man was found shot dead in a car in Birmingham in the second fatal shooting in the city within a week.

West Midlands Police has launched a murder probe after the victim, aged in his 20s, was found with gunshot wounds on Tuesday.

The incident happened off Maxwell Avenue in the Handsworth area of the city at about 5pm.
----------------

This latest shooting comes a week after promising entrepreneur and university graduate Abdul Rahman Abubaker, 24, was fatally shot at a street barbecue in Highgate, Birmingham, on May 15.

There have been at least four other separate shootings in the city and nearby Solihull, in the past 10 days.
Dude, they had 10 days and 4 separate incidents and they can't even match our most recent school shooting.

Gun control works

No....gun crime is going up in Britain after they banned and confiscated guns, it is going up, not down. They are an island, the most camera watched country in the world...and their criminals are getting lots of guns......while here? Our gun crime rate dropped 75% as more Americans now own and carry guns.....you can't explain that because you simply hate guns.
You know that Britain started limiting firearms access in the 1960s right?

Dude, posting that fake nonsense over and over doesn't make it true.

Time to change tactics.

They are having more, we are having less......

2aguy Bill, you're still on your winning (losing) streak.

1. Guns are not banned in GB.
2. From your own link:

"..Latest Office for National Statistics figures showed the West Midlands force area had more than double the national average of gun crimes between 2015 and 2016 with 19 offences per 100,000 residents.
In the Metropolitan Police area it was 18 per 100,000 over the same period, and in the Greater Manchester Police area the figure was 16.."

Take off your shoes and start counting. Compare GB with the US.

Hint: The US has close to 100 gun deaths every day.

Na, violent criminals will use whatever is accessible...
Why are you so dead set on making it as easy as possible for them?
There is most likely north of 400 million legally owned firearms in this country. What percentage of those firearms are used in violent crime, a fraction of A fraction of a percent... tops?
It’s a nonissue

Rustic Not a "nonissue" to families of dead children. Or, to the 100 who died today.

Would it be a nonissue if it was YOUR child?

Wrong...we have a lot of suicides with guns..which don't count since Japan with extreme gun control has even more....and we had 11,004 gun murders in 2016.......and 2.4 million defensive uses of a gun that same year...

Can you tell which number is bigger....and which number means less victims of rape, robbery and murder?

11,004 v 2,400,000......come on, tell us.....which number is biggger?
