5% of teenagers on college campuses dictating American policy

Still advocates for current criminal acts to be not criminal publicly.

And I'm sure like most orgs of this ilk they have an underground org setup to aid people wanting to do it regardless of legality.
Of course. What do you imagine our foster care system is for?

Everyone who uses a space denies it's use to others.

Walking through a public space with your dog, or using it for a picnic, or just to hang out is not what is happening now. These people take over the space, control the space, and deny entry to those they don't want to enter.

That is illegal in public spaces, and trespassing in private ones.

So now you're moving the goalposts. How did they "deny entry" to those who want to enter? If they did, arrest them for it. That's not what the stormtroopers are doing here. They're just removing everyone who is in a public space.

Not at all.

They are removing people who refuse to leave a public space designed for use, not occupation.

Lets see what happens when a Jewish student tries to enter these occupied spaces.

You make up distinctions whenever it serves your own purposes. This isn't about occupation, it's about cracking down on speech you disagree with. The politicians have no problem expressing their disdain for the content.

I make up explanations that reflect the law and the reality of the situation, which you ignore.

The speech is meaningless, the unlawful act is the occupation of the space.

Abbott's own statements proved this was about the speech.

In NYC they will get their asses handed to them for trespass and disobeying a lawful order.

Even In Texas speech won't be the reason, again, disobeying a lawful order to disperse more than likely.

And yet the Republicans can't stop making the content of the speech the centerpoint.

I think defending one’s freedom of speech is something our nation should be committed to

Except when they denounce trannys, cross dressers, and drag queens, then suddenly free speech turns into hate. Isn't that right?

Democrats have no problem with finding gas the Jews free speech. Try that with lynch the blacks. Free speech or not?

They make it part of the situation, but the calls for action only came when the occupations and the harassment of other students started.

Republicans have been calling for action for far longer since they disagree with the content of the speech.

They’re all for protecting their ability to say whatever they want but are chomping at the bit to limit the speech of others.

Most have never voted in a presidential election
Many just got their drivers license 2 years ago
Half won’t want to pay for their schooling
And they are Media Darlings knocking Trump off the front page
Never have so few with so little gas in the tank gotten so much mileage
Should we resort to Kent State tactics?

I'm not really sure schools have the authority to shut down free speech on their campus.
Why not? Freedom of speech is a guarantee the government can't shut you down for speaking ill of it.
Public space is to be used freely by everyone. That doesn't give you the right to kick people out because you want to use it for yourself.
The occupied zones are on college property...............privately owned.
Since those people are engaging in speech on the public space, then kicking them out is absolutely a violation of their speech.
If they are hindering ingress, egress and regress, on private property....speech has nothing to do with it.

State colleges like UT-Austin are not privately owned. The private colleges accept federal funding which requires them to adhere to the first amendment as well.
