I suspect that (1) Ukraine will surprise us with operational art and design even more in the future, just as it has already; (2) Ukraine will not go after large cities directly, but rather surround them and let the already exhausted, demoralized, and un-supplied Russians in them wither until they surrender; (3) Ukraine will go into southern Zaporizhzhia much sooner than the series of events described here, splitting Russian forces even more and cutting off their logistics, while simultaneously continuing the drives in the east and south. Any apparent slowdowns in Ukraine's progress should not be seen as operational difficulties or lack of success; Ukraine is merely being careful and methodical to preserve its forces, establish strong lines of communications (logistics), rotate its forces, incorporate captured equipment, and establish strong defenses for its rear and flanks
