I understand the difficulty even credible pollsters have in measuring Trump support but in the latest Gallup poll 56% of Americans admitted they are better off than they were when Obama was POTUS.

When informed of this by a reporter Biden gave an honest, off-the-cuff, typically Slo-Joe response. He said they "probably shouldn't" vote for him.

Voting solely on whether you are better off is short sighted and dumb. Anyone with a sense of civic responsibility, or even morality, will vote based on how it will impact the nation as a whole, not just their own personal circumstances.
