7 Stages of the Progressive Agenda

Every once in a while, a visit to this site comes up with an absolute gem. This is truly one of them. Here are the stages:


STAGE 1: Identify the issue.

STAGE 2: Promote the issue.

STAGE 3: Say it's a MORAL issue.

STAGE 4: Declare the issue a CRISIS!

STAGE 5: Call it a HEALTH issue!

STAGE 6: Enshrine it as a CIVIL RIGHTS issue!

STAGE 7: Dammit! Can't you people see the crisis is not just a moral issue or a health issue or a question of civil rights? It's a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY!


And don't forget to blame Republicans.

That also works just as fine in reverse. Conservatives make gay marriage a Moral issue (Man and Woman), a Health issue (children), a Civil Rights issue (religious rights), and sometimes even go as far as making it a national security issue all the time (see that one forum thread about Canada's destruction of societal values from gay marriage legalization)

Keeping society from becoming a cess pool, is a moral issue. Liberals has made a society that the people can't make up their mind on what sex or color they are. Some even think their perfectly good arm doesn't belong on their body. Even kids need to decide if they should use the men or woman's bathroom. Liberalism is a failure.
