I have a different theory. Maybe off base, maybe not. Marriages seem to be failing at a horrendous rate. For kids to turn out right, it takes two. What young woman, can trust a partner to be in for the long haul, not leaving them with the bundle of joy?

You know that shit cuts both ways, right? Plenty of young mothers out there putting personal priorities over their child. Whether it's drug addiction, or they just aren't cut out for the parenting stuff. Many young fathers have stepped up to become the primary parent. We don't live in the 1950s anymore.
