"Unaccountable private tyranny" is the great flaw in libertarianism, been saying it myself for years. When left to their own devices, the economically powerful can only be counted on to abuse their position. Add to that the almost uniform opposition to collective action by any individually powerless group and American libertarianism is little more than corporate fascism renamed for a new generation who may not be curious enough to know just how bad it would be for a working man to live under such "enlightened" rule.

Anarchism can always come back to bite you in the ass no matter where you sit on the political spectrum. No one can consistently call for Anarchism.
