As the election slips away
As she drinks by the sight
Of a dream faraway

Could she be this old
And have her presidency just begin?

Drinking by the hope of a winning election day
It begins
Drinking by the loss of a lost election day

Tell her how many times can her story be told
After all of these years it should all sound so old
But it somehow rings true in the back of her mind
As she searches for a win that words can no longer define
