I just bought a couple of more machineguns and when i went down to the SO to get the obligatory fingerprint cards and get the CLEO to sign off on them the woman behind the desk responded "oh COOL! Can I shoot them too?" To which I said, "Of course! As soon as the transfers come in I plan on using the city range, I'll let you know when i go" The CLEO likewise was interested in shooting them so we have a date set for when the transfers come in we're going to have a shooting party!

They gave me a discount on the fingerprint cards too!

What state do you live in?

I have a friend of many years who had a Tommy Gun in NH. He lives in WA. He has/had a huge collection of great guns he has been selling some off

and I thought machine guns...

I believe... most of your story, but the person behind the counter was a dude, wasn't it? I'm not judging you at all. I hope both you dudes have fun shooting with and/or on each other. Just remember that it stings if one of his "bullets" gets in your eye.

Nope. She was a woman. Has a boyfriend (and I'm happily married) so you may disabuse yourself of the homo erotic fantasies. Besides......you're just not my type...dude!

Not only that but he drove to the Sheriff's office in three seconds and got there before he left.

Nope. It takes almost an hour for me to get to the SO's office from my place. That's on a good day! You're just jealous that you're so incompetent at everything that you literally can't do ANYTHING!

We're all laughing at your tall tales at this point. I think Aaron's on the right track; you do have a facility for, shall we say, embellishment. I'm guessing what really happened is you went to the post office and invited the clerk to come back and see your stamp collection.

The last time I fired a full auto weapon was about September of 2003 .

The Sheriffs Officebought new M-4 carbines. Two of the Deputy's brought theirs to a range near where I work. They brought their M-4s , and we went to a range near by.

I fired short bursts on some hard hats at about 35 yards away.

I did an excellent job with iron sights, even though the rifles were not perfectly sighted in and it was in near dark...... Or dark conditions.

The nurse I worked with at the time - with sandy blonde hair ; I even think she was impressed based on her reaction .

Maybe they can make a "date" to - you know - "clean" their "guns" together.

Ya know, I always say that Viagra would be cheaper but maybe not.

Nevada. Duh, it's in my header. What did you think about machineguns? You posted a link with no question or assertion so, as I am not a mind reader I have no clue what you are asking.

Stamps are your bag dude.

You progs are all alike. Always you assert that we need guns to be "manly". I buy them because they are excellent investments and fun to shoot. That's something you idiots don't understand....fun....

Dante isn't stupid enough to believe everything people put on their 'header'

Yeah, can't blame you for that, but in my case it is accurate.

Nope.

I own guns and when I was young I thought the same thing - shooting was fun. Then I grew up.

Not everyone needs guns to be "manly" and, for the most part, they do not make "excellent investments".

Care to bet? Machineguns are excellent investments. I bought my first MG back when the tax stamp cost more than the weapon did. That weapon is now worth over 45,000. So, 195 dollars to 45K in 40ish years. I would love to know what other LEGAL investment can do that good and not require expensive maintenance like a house invariably does....

Our Sheriff's Office is pretty cool like that as well. Small town, rural county. Can't afford MGs but I recently got a C&R license which required a sign off from the SO.

What are you getting?

I've seen such reactions before to exotic weapons. Especially from people from backgrounds with limited exposure to firearms.

And yes, including women.
