According to recent reports, the perpetrator of the attack was arrested, while his alleged accomplice is currently being sought, says the Bild. The newspaper said the aggressor shouted "Allahu Akbar!" Before he went on the attack.
The assailant "went into a supermarket and suddenly started attacking customers," the police said while not indicating information about the aggressor's motives.

Filed as an Islamist but not a jihadist by the security services, the Palestinian assailant "had no connection with the Islamic State group or other terrorist organizations," he said.
