Such a plan would reward Arab violence and just encourage more. There have been plenty of opportunities for peace including unilateral withdrawals and offers of more than 50% (iirc correctly, today is the anniversary of one of the offers) and all have been rejected. Israel left Gaza and immediately, the rockets started. Ceding land is seen by the Arabs as weakness, not an offer of compromise.

I can feel for those Palestinians who do not agree with their leadership and are innocent victims of their policies. I cannot feel sorry for their leadership or for those who approve of the policy and intent to kill all the Jews and destroy Israel.
