Trump’s focus on race: Tactic or reflex?

A "conspiracy" is a concerted effort, generally undertaken in secret, by individuals or organizations to bring about some nefarious end.

It is now too obvious to deny that the political Left, in conjunction with the non-Fox Media, have entered into a conspiracy to slander President Trump with the indefensible label of "racist." Every single news outlet (except Fox), every national Democrat politician, every Leftist spokesperson in the land, has taken up the mantra of "Trump is a racist."

This despite the fact that NONE of the comments, actions, inferences, or Tweets that are cited as "proof" of Trump's racism is...well,...racist.

The latest brouhaha about Representative Elijah Cummings and his congressional district is just the latest, and one of the most obvious examples. Trump's excoriation of Cummings follows Cummings' vicious slandering of ICE managers and the Trump Administration over problems at the U.S. southern border caused by a dramatic and unanticipated surge of mostly ineligible refugee seekers, and the conditions caused by their numbers. IT WAS ENTIRELY APROPOS for President Trump to point out the WORSE failures of the governors of Rep. Cummings' congressional district, which has been the recipient of ten-figure largess from the Federal government, with nothing to show for it.

The mere suggestion that Trump's attack was racially motivated is preposterous. It was consistent with similar attacks on other politicians by this President, who - we all know - does not take criticism well.

The tweet-storm against the four "[vulgar word for vaginas] of color" has similarly been indelibly painted as racist, and again, had nothing to do with race. Besides which, since when is Puerto Rican a "race"?

And they continue to mine the lies of Charlottesville, when Trump, referring to the demonstrators who protested the removal of a Confederate monument, described them as "fine people," and is now "known" to have been calling the latter-day-Nazi's "fine people," which is hogwash.

In last night's debate, the references to Donald Trump's "racism" were pervasive, and not one journalist commented or pointed out the slander involved. Don Lemon asked a question that was based on the presumption of Trump's bigotry, asking whether his bigotry should be considered more important than economic success.

This is more than just occasional "criticism" of the President. It is far too pervasive to be just random. It is a conspiracy in anticipation of the 2020 election. Is there no journalist out there who is honest enough to admit or challenge it?

Other than at Fox, apparently not.

Making this about race just is a backhanded endorsement by the MSM for Harris.

If they really want to hurt Trump, they will label him as a Vegan.

What conspiracy? We can all see the media and several politicians from both camps are calling the Orange Virus a racist.

Just as it's entirely apropos for Cummings to point out the Orange Virus is a racist.

The mere suggestion that Trump's attack was racially motivated is preposterous. It was consistent with similar attacks on other politicians by this President, who - we all know - does not take criticism well.

Not preposterous, and that's entirely his (Orange Virus) cross to bear.

The tweet-storm against the four "[vulgar word for vaginas] of color" has similarly been indelibly painted as racist, and again, had nothing to do with race. Besides which, since when is Puerto Rican a "race"?

If you were paying attention, you would see it's more about religious preference than race. Religious bigotry fuels this whole shit show.

And they continue to mine the lies of Charlottesville, when Trump, referring to the demonstrators who protested the removal of a Confederate monument, described them as "fine people," and is now "known" to have been calling the latter-day-Nazi's "fine people," which is hogwash.

Well, that's one way to look at it. Another might be that a good leader should be a good communicator. Orange is really bad at it, which has been an endless source of amusement for me. A smart politician would have never even said such nonsense to begin with, and now he gets to hang for said nonsense in the court of public opinion, which is not good, forever. Accountability for ones words and actions should be paramount in our political arena. If you can't cogently respond to the press in the aftermath of a national tragedy, it's best to stop talking. The Orange Virus can't do that, so he prefers to shoot himself in the foot at every opportunity.
