A sound argument for banning 'assault weapons'?

Leafing through my latest American Rifleman, I see that Ruger has finally released its Precision Rifle.

Based on the AR-10 lower and available in .308, .243 and 6.5 Creedmor, it will accept 5-10- and-20- round M110, SR-25. DPMS and M-14 magazines. MSRP $1300

For those of you that support banning 'assault weapons" -- why should this rifle be banned?

(Yes, I know. Shhhh.)
Fancy toys for mindless boys...
Translation:
You know you have no sound argument as to why the rifle in question should be banned.
That's no different than any other gun I'd ban, which is most of them for nearly everyone. As I said, fancy...

s0n.....the fag position on this couldn't be more fringe in 2015........support for NOT banning handguns is at an all time high!!! ( can post up latest Gallup by request......74%:eusa_dance:)

Your average citizen doesn't own an assault weapon. He or she owns a magazine-fed semi-automatic rifle, manufactured to look like an assault weapon.
