Air Force: 2 Afghan trainees missing from Georgia air base
MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. — Officials say two male Afghan nationals being trained at an Air Force base in Georgia have gone missing.
In a news release issued Tuesday night, base officials said the two students didn't report on Monday to "their regular maintenance training" with the 81st Fighter Squadron at Moody Air Force base, located near Valdosta, about 230 miles south of Atlanta.
The release notes that the two men have been at Moody since February 2015 and "were screened prior to their arrival in the United States more than a year ago."
The release adds that federal authorities are searching for the students, who have been training "alongside American counterparts for the entirety of 2015 and do not pose any apparent threat

Wonder what happened?

Search underway for Afghan trainees missing from air base
ATLANTA — Georgia police say there's no indication two Afghan nationals pose a threat after they went missing from an Air Force base.
Valdosta police Chief Brian Childress said Wednesday that there's "zero evidence" the men are terrorists.
Childress says federal, local and state agencies are working with the military to find the men.
Childress says Moody Air Force Base officials informed him Tuesday morning that the men were missing.
Base officials said in a statement Tuesday night that the men didn't report Monday to maintenance training with the 81st Fighter Squadron at the base, about 230 miles south of Atlanta.
Military officials say the two had been at Moody since February 2015 as part of training aimed at improving the Afghanistan air force and were screened before arriving in the U.S.

Yet another source of wasted taxpayer revenue and even worse, possibly a pipeline for the transportation of Arab Muslim terrorists to America.
