Poll: 81% of Muslims surveyed support Islamic State slaughters - Al Jazeera Arabic Poll

"In a recent survey conducted by AlJazeera.net, the website for the Al Jazeera Arabic television channel, respondents overwhelmingly support the Islamic State terrorist group, with 81% voting “YES” on whether they approved of ISIS’s conquests in the region.

The poll, which asked in Arabic, “Do you support the organizing victories of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)?” has generated over 38,000 responses thus far, with only 19% of respondents voting “NO” to supporting ISIS.

so true-----I have known LOTS AND LOTS of muslims of the Pakistan, Indian,
and Iranian persuasion. NONE could speak or read Arabic-------in fact my
tiny bit of Hebrew led some to imagine---- "YOU KNOW ARABIC" Anyone who
imagines that a person who can recite-----a few bits of the Hebrew alphabet ---
"KNOWS ARABIC"------not only does not know Arabic-----but is utterly unfamiliar
with the "subject"----UTTERLY. I was surprised-----I ASSUMED that muslim kids
learn more than the Islamic version of history in their intro to islam lives

PEW didn't ask Al Jaz' viewers. Al did. Worth mentioning Al's viewership is made up largely of Sunni Muslims, same as ISIS.

Worth mentioning too, looking at the countries they asked people in those countries may not have had a huge amount of trust in an American polling org asking them how they feel about a terror group. Also, they didn't ask identical questions. How things are phrased matters.

Plus of course, most glaringly, if Fox asked Fox viewers how they feel about some Republican issue, they'd expect a high result. As with Al Jazeera asking Al viewers about a Sunni issue. PEW asking Muslims in 3rd world countries is akin to PBS asking Fox viewers have they feel about tax money used to support public television
