More than 300,000 immigrants living in the United States, many with families, careers and property, could face deportation as soon as next year following a decision announced Monday by the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The program was conceived in 1990 as a short-term, humanitarian protection. But it allows beneficiaries to reapply for renewal, and many have been in the U.S. for decades.

Weren't they classified as illegal aliens and as such illegally residing in the U.S ? How in the world were they able to steal jobs from American citizens and establish careers and purchase property when it is so hard for Americans with college degrees born in the USA to do the same thing? I'll donate to U-haul company fund to pack their stuff and ship it to Guatemala.

My guess is the TPS status gives them some leeway.

Good. The other 22 million should be kicked out as well. Illegal is illegal.
