All Sides: Please Watch and Learn...Good Stuff

There are many Constitutions, let's be clear we are talking about the U.S. Constitution here. And the video gets it wrong about 1:32 into it. The majority DOES NOT rule here. Dead wrong. You have been buffooned by another slick PBS publication. LAW rules in a republic. PBS can go get stuffed.

We have majority rule minority rights. The video is right.

Other nations have constitutions. But they protect the government from the people. The U.S. Constitution protects the people from the government. You might learn something if you would put down Marx and read the United States Constitution.

Nat4900 rated my post on the U.S. Constitution"funny." Says much about liberal attitudes in this nation.

We have majority rule minority rights. The video is right.

Nope. Sorry. Better go back and read your law.

I think you need to go back and read the Constitution and what it provides for and protects. It's what...at one time...made us the greatest nation on earth. Liberals hate the Constitution because they want totalitarianism. Liberals want Orwell's 1984.

Please understand that liberals have their own books on things. They have their own teachers, schools, websites and TV channels for such things. The MO of the Liberal is to ensconce themselves in group think, and prohibit anyone who disagrees with outside thought! How else can their ideology survive? So when someone starts talking factually about a matter like the Constitution, it is of course hilarious to them, maybe the first time in their lives they have heard such wild ideas.

I agree.

The "Rule of Law" is the Rule of Lawyers

The Constitution was written behind closed doors by lawyers for the 1%. It set up a tiny group to make all our laws for us. Those who push and preach it are anti-social enemies of democracy who have a desperate need to feel superior to the 99%. Using the hereditary economic elite's control of the media and education, they intimidate Americans into believing that we have no choice but to submit to the "republic," which is a sheltered and ignorant oligarchy with delusions about its superiority. Anyone who thinks that democracy is "two wolves and a sheep voting for what's for dinner" is a traitor.
