Bands you've seen

the WORST concert I had ever been to was when my Army buddies dragged me to see Billy Squire. Jesus Christ he sucked! First off, he was an hour and half late. Plus the opening act was supposed to be Twisted Sister but early that morning the lead singer (Dee Snider) had accidently shot his own foot. So Twisted Sister was replaced by some heavy metal big hair group called Icon. They were horrible but not as horrible as Billy Squire. When he finally got on stage he looked tired, fat and annoyed. The worst part was when he was "singing" while writhing on the floor like a sick manatee. There is nothing more surreal than a fat old man in a red leather vest trying to act sexy while singing off key. I still have nightmares.

The best concert I had ever been to was THE CRAMPS back in high school (1984). I was near the stage slam dancing when some idiot from the crowed jumped on the stage and then jumped off. Where did he land? Right on my eye. I went to school the next day with a big black eye and everybody asked me what happened and I told them. For some reason this made me popular for about a week.

P.S. - my Yes folder has 30 (count 'em, thirty) stubs.

Wow, you are so lucky to have seen JJ Cale. How was he live?

Les Miserables?

At least when I saw Olivia Newton John and Sheena Easton, it was because I was trying to get laid from a girl who really dug them.

But Les Miserables?

Man, I don't even wanna go there!

Oh.Gawd

I couldn't possibly list them all. My first career was in the music biz when I was a wee lass.

Good times....
I would trade all the bands I've seen just to see AC/DC once in concert.

I did in 1992.Killer. I was walking to the concert hall smokin' a doobie and when I walked around the corner a cop appeared. I ate the joint. Ha!
Saw the Doobie Brothers also, great concert.

This was one that stands out as an impeccable performance...
