Attorney General William Barr has broken with President Trump on the issue of whether or not Obama-era officials committed treason.

CBS INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPTS:

Reporter Han Crawford: "You don’t think that they have committed treason?”

US AG Barr: “Not as a legal matter. Sometimes people can convince themselves that what they're doing is in the higher interest and better good. They don't realize that what they're doing is really antithetical to the democratic system that we have.”

I can see it. I could agree with a perspective Rosenstein, Clapper, Brennan, and Comey all believed that Donald Trump was the wrong choice for America, that they knew better than the American people who voted him in as President, and that it was up to them to 'SAVE' the country. Their decision to use the dossier they had already been told was unreliable and unverified, for example, was a conscious choice made to 'do what was best for the good of the country, according to them. None of that makes what they did any less criminal, though.

Regarding Mueller's final decision made in his report:

The bottom line was that Bob Mueller identified some episodes. He did not reach a conclusion. He provided both sides of the issue. And his conclusion was he was not exonerating the president, but wasn’t finding a crime either.”

...and with that, Mueller announced he has shut down his investigation - it is over, his role as Special Counsel is done, he has turned out the lights and has locked the door to his office, and he is walking away. he made clear he will not say anything more about the Trump investigation, and he will NOT testify or answer any questions under oath before Congress.

AG Barr breaks with Trump, says he does not think Obama-era officials committed treason

It's not likely that a Republican AG would charge someone with treason. A Democrat would do it for sure, but not Barr. That doesn't mean that people won't go to jail for committing felonies though.
