people in the audience were encouraged to buy the book after the event was over, which is a kind of capitalism if you think about it

"Are you really free if you are deprived economically? Are you free if you are spending half your income in housing? Are you free if you do not have a job that pays you a living wage? Economic rights are human rights." - Bernie Sanders

Capitalism is using wealth to make more wealth. It should not be confused with free enterprise.

If you can't afford to invest money in stocks and bonds or some other business venture you are not participating in capitalism.

By your definition if you do not control any trade or industry you are not a practicing capitalist. Most of us have to settle for selling our time and labor to capitalists.

The participating part is in the profit. Who do you think is contributing to that profit?

Private owners couldn't make a profit if their product didn't sell. Duh.

As I said, free enterprise should not be confused with capitalism.

And the democrats rule with a rod of iron.

In Bernie Sanders Venezuela, the super rich are even less than 1%, which is what socialism is all about as everyone else eats out of garbage cans.

Bernie talks a good game but than does exactly as the oligarchy demands. He’s a proven fraud.
