Bernie Sanders: “Billionaires should not exist.”

Can't agree with that. Parents delight in giving their children better circumstance than the parents had. You would take away all that and go back to the time when many small businesses closed due to inheritance taxes draining resources to keep them open. Millions of heirs had to give up the family farm. Only the rich--think Walmart heirs etc.--had the financial resources to get around that.
The Race Must Alway Go to the Fittest, Never Again to the Fatherest

HeirHeads are set up halfway to the finish line, obstructing the progress of everyone else except for no-talent bootlickers.
Businesses wouldn't close. The government, for once representing the 99%, would sell them to the highest bidder.

Let the Richkid Reich get ahead on its own, as many of its fathers did. There's hypocrisy in someone bragging about rags to riches and using himself as an example for everyone else to follow—except his sons.

How has Swift interfered with the well-being of the poor and working class? She employs a ton of people. Also read where she gave all her truck drivers a $100,000 bonus.

It’s fucksticks like Bernie who shouldn’t have a dime. Never produced a thing in his entire pathetic life,
: crickets: from Donald H

Leftists move closer to the right when they get wealthy. With the exception of people like Bill Gates who remain genuinely on the left.

not all. Many in Congress are rich, most of Hollywood is rich, many corporate CEO’s are rich, and they remain on the left.

If you believe money and wealth is evil, and you are a democrat, then you are a hypocrite.

And, yeah, I can see lefty’s moving right when they get money..they know them lefty’s are going to come after their stash. Shows they are all about taking money from the wealthy, until they become wealthy themselves.

The poor in America are not the coaches sons or nephews.
The Pittsburg Steelers and Washington Redskins.
I had a client who played for both teams. And his home I was his agent in buying was kept as a mess. His folks were not poor. His Mom was a teacher in Fresno and his Dad was a Bricklayer. He went to a good college.

Making Politicians our rulers and denying families their own revenues
Your prattle is great for Democrats because their plan is to be your ruler.

Bernie Sanders: “Billionaires should not exist.”

Me: “Please name a country that doesn’t allow people to become billionaires, but still has a first world standard of living.”

Extreme wealth only occurs with extreme exploration of the planet and it's people. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. Things are definitely more out of kilt than ever in America and the world. People are seeking the wrong goals to begin with. There will never be peace on earth as long as we continue to live with a dog eat dog mentality. The human race needs to grow up finally or perish. I understand where he's coming from. Very logical stance but didn't explain his logic and etiology of it very well.

Laws manipulated by the wealthy for their benefit.
Markets, money, and corporations are all creations of the state.
The distribution of income is not determined by an invisible hand's objective appraisal of each individual's and investor's marginal utility but, rather, with the politically constructed laws and institutions that structure economic activity in a given society.

Over generations, capitalism concentrates more and more income into fewer and fewer hands which in turn funds campaign contributions to pliable politicians who write laws to ensure the looting continues.

And most of it is done " legally ".

Why don't Democrats ever harp that the Federal Government gets far too much money on hand?
